I bought a Mr. Potato Head “Darth Tater” two months ago and named it Eduardo Potato. It’s been quite an inner conflict to keep it in its sealed box so far.

EJ, I was thinking of getting a Darth Tater and that Potato Head stormtrooper too. Figured I had too many hobbies and left the store carrying a tin can of MEGA BLOX Dragons. Hehehe.
Slam book is right. I believe the last time I filled one out was in the 5th grade. I’m not really in to Anime. I can’t invest the time to watch 26 eps but I do like Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Ninja Scroll, and Samurai X - the movies. I like video games but no time to play. I don’t like the color blue. I’m all about black.

A friend who collects Anime and SciFi stuff just got me into Firefly. He suggested Serenity, loved it. Bought the DVd and I don’t buy DVD’s, it’s my first one. Rented Firefly the series and I probably will buy that set too. Never seen a Buffy or Angel show but this Joss Whedon stuff I’m a fan of. Too bad the show was cancelled.
Oopps Mishi didn’t mean to bite your color choice, just read your response.
rick.. huh? we both like all shades of blue XP and baby blue is feminine XP you still play halo 1 on .. xbc or gamespy or xlink? heh.. i wish it was on xbl.. the xbox controllers were easy for me to get used to XP try again? so we can party up on xbl hehe..
Gamespy.
A friend had a game going with his other freelancer friends in the afternoon and he convinced me to pony up the $25 bucks to join them. We usually play in the afternoons. We’re all freelancers working from home so it’s not hard to schedule.
I’ve always been a computer, PS2 gamer. Those damned triggers on the xb controllers confuse me. I’m officially old, unwilling to learn something new:)
I’m not quite sure where I found that. I think in Sta Lucia…or was it Rockwell Mall. My bro has a Spud Trooper. But then again he has lots of weird shit including some very hard to find 16″ Nightmare before Xmas figures. Once he even thought about buying a “Chucky” and a “Good Boy?” life-size in Kaybee. Damn… that makes me miss Kaybee. Oh well.

Rick, maybe with paint, but what about with light? You see white light when all colors in the spectrum are present (i.e. your computer monitor). Darkness (black) is when there’s none.
Obet: Miyazaki’s movies are like eye-candy to me XP Beautiful visuals and weird, magical stories.
Did you like the sequel to Ghost in the Shell? How about Perfect Blue?
“If there’s a crayon of it, it’s a color” - because adults are too lazy or incapable of explaining to a child who asks the question “why?” when you tell them that black or white is not a color.
E.J.: Hmmm…you’re right. I guess it depends on the media you’re using but as Balbonics pointed out you don’t actually get black mixing all the paint colors, you only get dark brown.
Mishi: You know a friend lent me the “Studio Ghibli” collection. I loved it, a bunch of Miyazaki’s films was on it. I agree with Obet that they are kind of childish but that didn’t really bother me I get enough of the action stuff as well. I just got Netflix and I’ve loaded up on the anime and sci-fi, with the occasional kung fu flic to break it up.
KFX: I can’t imagine it, can you say his name with an American accent on the next podcast?
Speaking of crayons, do you guys remember when Crayola made a crayon called “Flesh”?
It’s now called “Peach”, they changed it in 1962 but they still had the “Flesh” versions floating around in the PI in the late 70’s. I remember using it in my coloring book.
Obet, I think you’d might like the Anime, Urutsukudoji Series (6 parts). *wink*
My favorite cartoon (had a Japanese run too) is The Transformers. And alas, By July 4, 2007, Transformers The Movie is gonna be released, directed by none other than Stephen Speilberg.

I did collect stamps way back and I’m glad I saved my collection. They’re just right for the picking to put up on Ebay to cash it in. hehehehe!
I also have a weird habit of collecting pencils of all kinds, shapes, colors and sizes. It’s just a fascination I had for pencils way back when I was a kid. I have a box of over 500 pencils I bought from gift shops, bookstores, when on vacation etc… I don’t plan on using them. I just like the fact that it’s something affordable (translation: cheap) I can collect. hehehehe !
The hobby I gave up cause I don’t have anymore time is composing songs. I don’t write lyrics, I kinda suck at that skill. I do know how to whip up a melody from a poem or lyrics. But I haven’t been doing it for years now.
Oh yeah, lately, I do try to pass by the video arcade whenever I’m in the mall even if only for one game. I dig the car racing games (because I know how to drive as opposed to the other games with 6-8 buttons and a complicated combination of keys needed to be pressed or you’ll end up with a game over in less than a minute). The racing is a form of a stress reliever for me… but in reality, I either get rattled or hyper after racing head to head with an opponent.

Obet: Did you like any of Hayao Miyazaki’s movies?

Black is the absence of color. White is the result of all colors being present.
