The Lost Episode (the rest of episode 26)

Okay, there has been a number of discussions that have been going on back and forth between the Kid and myself. We have been discussing, of course, whether the tapings of this week are air-worthy or not. I have finally decided to take matters into my own hands. Here are this week’s “tapes”. Totally uncensored, unproduced, and raw as a horseback rider’s ass. Enjoy!

Note: Since I don’t know how to upload to iTunes and am too lazy to find out, this may be a WEB ONLY EXCLUSIVE! Tell your friends.

Download: The Lost Show’s intro
Setting up such a poor show, I must admit it was wrong from the start. I did get to greet KFX a Happy New Year and a Happy Birthday too as he scolds me on my laziness and lethargy.
2 minutes or so.

Download: Blog Feature of the Week - Philippine Blog Awards (what a joke!)
We discuss our disatisfaction with the bogus Philippine Blog Awards 2005 and the move on to chatting with Edwin and Cherry while doing the show and “The Announcement”!

Download: Kid’s Flash Topic - Surprise Present from Manong Guard
KFX gives his “satisfied customer seal” to the gift I sent him a week ago. I also mention that I’ve been distributing the shirts to the contest winners already and later on digress to a discussion of “Manong Guard’s pathetic surfing day“.
5 minutes and some

Download: Searching for topics…

This is the longest snippet among the raw tapes that KFX gave to me. It includes:

Kid’s Flash in the pan: Bacon-wrapped dates
Unproudly Filipino Lite: MMDAsk-wholes
Sing your signature song: Kid Flash X explains how a History Class makes history in his life… and how it leads to this song… “Stars” from the musical “Les Miserables”
Kamustahan: Our new man on the street - EJ Padero!

Other Stuff:
Manong Guard visits Viloria.com and finds out that Audrey has a boyfriend
Lots of dead air… Dammit!
Should we replace Manong Guard?
Kid Flash X presses the “porn-podcast” issue

What type of Betta is Anakin? Long-fined or a short-finned one. A crown tail or a plakat? I myself use live feed/fish to feed bettas but some of my friends here use some kind of special feeds. The feeds are designed to make them more active and healthy looking. :)

The “searching for topics” file seems to be the same one as the “recap episode”.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KFX!

(oh, and, we love you manong guard…) :D

  4. Kid Flash X Says:

The “searching for topics” mp3 file — is this the one I sent you? It’s the recap episode.

    Quality control! Quality control! Arghhh.

ahahaha…yeah the Recap episode. But you know that Recap episode got me listening to the old episodes and I usually don’t do that. I subscribed in December through iTunes and their list only goes back to 12/9 but through Odeo I was able to get the whole collection. I think I’m on show #16 now and some of the recap is starting to make more sense. It’s interesting to see the evolution; the intro music, the sound effects, the moods, the topics… Man that is a lot of work, truly a labour of love.

My favorite so far on the archives? Unproudly Filipino: Badminton.

[…] I was just listening to the live@usa.ph podcast a while ago and heard about Kid Flash X talking about the Philippine Blog Awards and how it basically sucked (he calls it bogus). […]

  7. Manong Guard Says:

Just to clarify… My role is to greet listeners personally when they come over to the Philippines. I don’t understand quality control. Hehehe. Still, I’ll look into that… I may have misplaced an audio file. Of course, it still is KFX’s fault for being un-intuitive with his file naming.

The “Searching for Topics” file has been updated. Please download the correct one now.

    Thanks,
