Enjoy recording dude! Will check your site to download the new ep. Will Kohl be joining you again?

Naks! I won!
About Sofia’s podcast/blog, I checked out the comments on the entries and her dad is a bit clueless to the fact that spam comments abound newly set-up blogs all the time. One post was advertsing Cialis (w/c apparently is for erectile dysfunction) and he was reprimanding whoever wrote it saying it is a wholesome family-oriented blog. Sheez dad, it’s the internet, people aren’t familiar with the term wholesome.
I agree with you guys, he is putting his daughter out there for pervs to ogle at. It has already started with the Cialis post. He should probably watch a few episodes of Law&Order.

Jay,
Tingnan mo, Rickey called you on it! You’re a bully daw!
hehe!
I listen to The Sini-Gang’s podcasts once in a while. Those guys are funny! They keep it clean. But I have to say kaya I listen to live@usa.ph more often is because I like to listen to something closer to home. Naks! (ahem, free t-shirt!) Joke lang! But really, I like listening to your contrasts of opinions with Jay being in Manila and Rickey being in NY.
Did any of you listen to their Halloween episode? Funny! Lalo na when they said mu-mu (as in mumo, or multo)! hehe! I kind of laugh at their accents when they say some Tagalog word (their “word of the day”) but I have to applaud them for trying.

Hey… Inquirer mentioned a few Filipino podcasters, I was looking for Live@usa.ph in the article… pero wala.
I got your point about Sofia’s blog, it is kinda different on how they actually do it since Sofia’s actually doing the talking. But I see is it as kinda like (similar to) Ava Thursday or Heather’s newsletter to LETA. Maybe Sofia has lots of relatives too in Pinas, lola or lolo.
Anyway very good show… eavesdropping bit was funny

I once dined at the Chef Donatello SM City/North branch with my gf and sister because I was given a discount card by one of the crew somewhere in the mall. I think the resto was newly opened then. The food and service SUCKED big time. The place was dirty, their cashier counter was a mess, there was a subtle aroma of garbage wafting around, and they had JOLOGS music at full blast! I did get a kick out of the bigass pepper mill they use though. I threw away the discount card as soon as we left and will bever dine there again.

You guys should record at the time of day when you gets lots of phonecalls, and keep recording while we listen in and try to guess what your conversation’s about. Yay, chismis!
Nice show, the 31 minutes really sped by, pucha.

Thanks peeps!!
Hey Manong, here’s an idea. Instead of treating me out, why don’t you just give me a free Live t-shirt? hihihihi… freeloader. I’ll wear it everywhere, so I’m some kind of offline walking advertisement. How’s that?

Free T-shirt?! ako rin … pro sige kahit bilin ko na lang art a minimum price…philippine peso po ha…
November 23rd, 2005 at 4:09 am
I agree with balbonics. It was so funny the way Manong Guard provided commentary to KFX’s phone conversation. =)
MG, about Dre’s visit, Mang Jimmy’s is not that great anymore. They stopped their eat-all-you can rice promo. And, their sisig serving is small (though it still tastes delish!). Oh, not to mention, the place ambiance stinks. Ooopsss… sorry for stealing your topic ….

I was able to sample Chef Donatello (along with Chel during Mark Bautista’s rainy album launch over at SM North EDSA). We were served with a huge piece of chicken and rice (it was a free meal so we couldn’t order anything). Surprisingly, I found the chicken tasty. I’m hoping though to sample their pasta selections.
Hey Jhamie, congrats ! You’re getting more visible on the net ha
I’ll check out the Sini-gang podcasts… it’s going to be a long listen… 24 episodes and I’ll be starting from Episode 1. I miss Jeric’s Confessions though… right Jhamie ?
November 23rd, 2005 at 5:10 am
jhamie,
Dissed at my own show? You’d rather choose a shirt over dinner with moi? Am I really losing my touch?
Everyone,
We will be giving away free shirts and Live@USA.PH CDs (same shit you’ve been hearing here but now on CD! … stupid noh?) on the EB. All you have to do is register and appear. Again the EB might be pot luck but I’ll be buying some of the food and drinks. Anyone wants to volunteer a house? Hehehe.
Now you guys have to help me. I’ve talked to all my suppliers and they tell me that they’re all booked printing shit for the SEA Games. I need someone to make me 20 shirts!
Thanks,
Jay

UPDATE!
Had brunch with Dre this morning. She’s very interesting to say the least. Watch out for her possible guesting on the show.

Uhoh… damn SEA games ! That’s a 2 week event right ? (inside info for manongguard: The Vietnamese women football players are staying in the Marikina Hotel with police security outside… happened to pass by the other day)
I’ll try to look for a supplier as well.
Cool ! I pretty much guessed Dre is an interesting even though she may have the least airtime among the 3 over at PIM. Hello Dre ! Too bad the other people here from Live couldn’t meet you. Would she still be here in Manila for the Live EB ? We could invite her there.
November 23rd, 2005 at 8:12 pm
Sadly she’ll be back to where she’s from by EB time. And she’s actually really booked on this trip. But I did tell her about you and TitikPilipino.com, JayDJ.

Sayang… may be Chika and Obet are next in line to visit the Philippines…
Uhoh… I hope my site doens’t get bashed in their podcast.
I’ve started downloading Sini-gang at Episode 19… haven’t listened to it yet. Got sidetracked by the latest eps of PIM
but I’ll get around adding them to my list of podcasts.
I’ve originally been only listening to webtalkradio.com, it’s more of the techie/internet side which was why I was happy to learn of these pinoy podcasts online.
Hope I could put one up in the future… but for now, I have an entire website to upgrade first.
(OT: Womens Football playing at the Marikina Sports Center almost everyday 4pm onwards… are they the reason why we can’t have our shirts printed immediately ? wahhh !!!)
November 23rd, 2005 at 9:29 pm
*Hala, lagot.* My apologies Manong. Was just trying to score a free shirt.hihi. I didn’t know you are actually going to give it for free at the EB. Patawad.
