Our new Logos!

These are variants of the same logo. I was thinking of more in the line of how it would look on a white T-shirt. A black T-shirt. Two color. Anne! Please comment. This is going to be not just mine and Rickey’s but more of the entire community’s logo. I’m planning to have 2 sets of shirts produced. One would be the logo on the front and “Live Gangster - Manila” on the back. The other would be the logo on the front and “Live Gangster - International” on the back.

Did I just inadvertently rip-off the old friendster logo? I can’t help but see the similarities now that it’s posted. Grr! Anne! Help! More or less you know what we want at least!

Jay & Rickey,
I see why you’d want to keep the same font though kasi yun na yung nasa blog nyo. Recognized na as you guys. So if I were to choose from the 3 options posted, I would choose the first. Kasi it’s simple and your podcast name stands out (mas may heirarchy of info). Yun lang, I think you should either make it one solid color in the darker blue (or is that purple) or keep it how it is with the outline, but darken the inside blue color (so that the white type will be more visible).

Was listening to your old podcasts… the one with the bad lyrics. Jay naman, hate na hate mo yung lyrics but surprisingly memorize mo yung tune and lyrics!

We @ putanginamo.com have been using CafePress for years. If all fails, try them for your US customers. MG: You can just get some factory in Bulacan that hires underage kids to print shirts for the Phil gang.

Anne,
Thanks for the suggestions. So that mean’s to heck with people telling us it’s a friendster rip-off? Hehehe!
Also, I had to look up the lyrics on the web and was singing it from the screen. On the other hand, yes the tune did stick… Believe me, I hate Yasmien. She actually has a new song with “Stop…” whatever… will research on that. Hehe.
Obet,
Been talking to Dre. We’re probably meeting up within the week. I’m starting the first run at maybe 20 shirts and see how that goes. For the mass producing, I have a chinese supplier who imports it from the mainland. Been listening to the Sini-gang too… You know what, we should form an organization of pinoy podcasters or something. Between the three shows we probably have enough listeners to matter.

It’s the bgcolor that makes the first two logos look like the old Friendster logo. How about using the live website’s header blue as the bgcolor instead, so that it relates more to the website?
Something tells me KFX might not want to use CafePress (anymore)…

The first one.
I think that would look good on either black or white shirt.

I agree with EJ about using the same blue as on your blog. I think that should make your logo pop out more.
If so, get rid of the outline na lang. Have you tried using the rectangle with rounded corners? To go with the curves of the font.
So Jay, does that mean magco-concert ka ulit on one of your podcasts?

Yeah, I think the rounded corners outline would also look great with the header-blue background. Parang highway info-board ang effect.
