Hepa started on my blog. After we did the review on one of the early podcasts, I posted my article on my blog and put a caption on one of my pictures. It showed me wearing a cap and biting on street food (another clue for the raffle) and “Hepa Contessa” seemed appropriate.
The show that followed then came with a format and it simply stuck!

Oo nga! Medyo ambiguous nga yung tanong nila, eh. Dapat siguro, “the first hepa contessa food” yung tanong (yung piniritong pusit nga ba ‘yon, james?), hindi simpleng “first food review” (dahil sabaw at tsaa ‘yon!).

Oo na! Give up na ako! The first food review is Fried Tentacles from episode 6 (thanks to kristoffer for the research) back before it was even called “Hepa Contessa”. Sheesh. We simply talked about tea and gazpacho but I don’t consider that a review of anything specific.
So here it is. Just email me your interest to join. Thing is I have to give jhamie more raffle entries… maybe three versus the normal one just because I think she did some research.

Ok here’s our story, it is I, Edwin who does the typing and we usually listen to the live podcast every morning( even reruns! ow God bless the live gang! and the ppl who made podcasting a reality!) and make some comments with each other, and then I had a thought of posting some comments as Edwin but some ideas were hers anyway so I included her name, kinda sweet actually! You always bring smile on her face at breakfasttime! But anyway, now I am used to putting our names together, even if she makes fun of me for being sooo in to this show and being part of ‘live gang’! And she was laughing as I type this….

By the way, I’ve been trying to ask this ages ago, from the intro it says live@usa.ph but whenever I hear the extro it says live.usa.ph??? apart from this both intro and extro are great! Classic for the show!

You guys have been focal to the growth of the show along with all the other regular posters. I’m glad we can brighten up your day somewhat with our banter. And yes it is sweet that you post using both your names. Not overdone… just sweet.
Hope we can meet up someday. (Never been to Europe).

Greetings Manong Guard and Mr. Pinoy podcaster 2005. hahaha I’m sure I would have given you a run for your money if i had a picture posted for the members of putanginamo podcast to judge. Sup Obet, Chica, and Dre…. funny how I leave a shout out for you guys here. I know you guys tune in and I’m sure you’ll see it eventually. Anyways back to Manong Guard and Kid Flash X, simply wanted to introduce myself. MG might correct me if i’m wrong, but i think that, MG used hepa because his first review was that of street food. since there’s always been a connection with dirty food and hepatitis, that’s how it came about. and then he was inspired by the barefoot contessa (which does exist, and is something i only found out recently).
