There’s a lot of self-editing going on. I thought my “how was your week” rant was a bit… spaced out. I couldn’t remember, to which MG responded, that goes to show how pathetic your life is, etc. I prefer not to live the moment, haha.
Ok, will remove the hickypox link.

Thanks for greeting us!!!!Yes we really are in UK precisely in Bedford and I’ve already endorsed your show to some of my friends here who have internet access, you guys really rocks!!! And thanks for bringing another quality podcast from you guys.
Such a shame because a lot of my colleagues decided to work as ‘callboys’ and ‘callgirls’ as MG said, and it is an eye opener for guys like them to look for a better job… and I also miss those carinderias in our country and all the social issues
Suggestions:
Hope you can feature some new bands (thanks for introducing MYMP coz they really sound great) or real filipinos that brings reputation to our country
Hope somebody’s ym’s sound effects should be muted or be disabled when recording
Hope you continue some topics about latest trends and/or latest technology (www.pcw.co.uk is Personal Computer World’s website) cool gadgets coming up this Christmas…
More power!!!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Some things though:
1. I hate MYMP, and the next time I feature a band, it would be Hale… which I hate almost as much. On the other hand, if you like MYMP you’d probably love these guys.
2. My bad on the YM sound effects. I think it was coming from the computer beside me… I had to podcast from a dirty old Internet Cafe yet again. Sorry about that.

Finally! Someone is brave enough to rant against those callcenter gals and dudes. Some of my classmates from a known Science High School and from the Unibersidad ng Pilipinas have that pathetic excuse of a job. Hay.. total waste of brain power! P.S. Hope somebody greets me next time. =p

A friend of mine told me the only skill he got from a callcenter was the art of mastering sleep deprivation… which isn’t a skill much to be proud of (nor good to place on a resume as a skill).
Sad thing that they don’t acquire much skills after leaving a call center and so the only interested companies to hire them afterwards are… well other call centers.
Kulang na lang ng video cameras everywhere in their workplace and it could pass off as an entire season of Pinoy Big Brother.

in defense of myself though, i am admitting that i’m in the business only for the money it brings me that enables me to support my materialistic endeavours…but then again I am just as glad that I have my writing gigs to do (which I treat more of as a full time job) that keeps me sane.
and you’ll never find me speaking the ‘American/British’ way outside of office. yeech.
