you guys are really fun to listen to! your shows have been improving really steadily (both in the technical aspect and content).
i’ve a couple of suggestions in my head, but one thing i think you’d like to consider doing is to normalize your podcast’s volume. i don’t know how i’ll even explain this without risking getting too technical about this, but hey, a bit of volume would really improve the “listenability” of your shows - i almost missed ManongGuard’s maya bird memory while listening to it!
i’d like to talk with you guys some more about your podcasts, and maybe give some suggestions, what-nots. or not.
(and what’s wrong with M.Y.M.P.? *grins*)

Thanks for the comments Toffee… you’re suggesting we increase it by +3Decibels… Right… We’ll do that… and in the process we’ll get a license in Audio Engineering. hehehe.

ManongGuard, i didn’t say anything _that_ specific would be enough - just made an offhand suggestion. whatever. just increase the volume a bit.
also, i know you want to make this podcast more far-reaching than it is now. for non-broadband users, it would be nice to come up with a WMA (or some other smaller-producing format) version of your podcast. a WMA could also be streamed, i believe, and you can use that to your advantage. of course, when your podcasts gain popularity (or notoriety), the bandwidth costs will start hurting.
at worst, you could make CDs of your podcasts and sell them in Quiapo (a la Gloriagate CDs) or give them away in malls.
no more comments about MYMP. who knows, the next time i’ll hear you talking about the pink doodahs of MMDA for Unproudly Filipino.

What do you guys use to communicate and record your podcast show? Do you use Yahoo IMs voice feature?

We use Skype, then I record our conversation using Audio Hijack Pro for OS X. Editing is done using GarageBand and iTunes.
